Set along the fifth fairway of the Championship Course in Incline Village, Nevada, this Lake Tahoe home underwent a complete renovation, evolving from a dated house into a thoughtfully designed home centered around family, entertaining and everyday comfort. What began as underutilized spaces, low ceilings and dated finishes was reimagined into an open, inviting retreat that balances gathering spaces with moments of tranquility. Close collaboration between the homeowners and the building team shaped a home that reflects the family’s personal style and way of life.
Expansive windows in the family room and great room frame sweeping fairway views while bringing natural light and the surrounding landscape into the heart of the home. The kitchen renovation became a primary focus of the project: when the homeowners mentioned practically “living” in the space, it was clear the room needed to be as functional as it was beautiful. Designed as a natural gathering place, the kitchen is now integral to how the family lives, entertains and connects.
The lower level was equally transformed. Raised ceilings, integrated HVAC and newly opened fairway views changed the feel and functionality of the space. Built for multiple generations to enjoy, the finished lower level now features an 85-inch television, a pool table and a 14-foot bar, creating a relaxed entertainment space for grandkids and adults alike to gather and unwind.
