This Lake Tahoe home was completely remodeled, renovated and revived to bring it into the new century. In the kitchen, a new open layout, expansive island, taller cabinets and custom finishes that evokes a European farmhouse feel. New wide-plank french oak flooring was installed throughout, creating a seamless, open, and welcoming appearance. All new windows were installed with a more modern upper transom arch style. The old river rock hearth fireplace was replaced with a modern gas linear fireplace and complementary built-ins. The old wood railings were replaced with a contemporary cable rail system. A shower was added to the upstairs powder room along with all the bathrooms getting full overhauls, transforming them into modern and tranquil spaces. The finished product is a contemporary masterpiece that is warm, open, inviting and timeless.
